Season 7 Premieres With a Twist

The Seventh Season of Grey’s Anatomy premieres on Thursday, September 23 “with a twist.” But what is this crazy event that’s going to happen? The season will have a one-hour premier instead of the usual two. Some people are livid over this while others believe that it might make the show move a little faster. I don’t know if all of my questions from the Season Six Finale can be answered in 60 minutes! Opinions??

The producers of Grey’s have put out a casting call looking for a new addition to the series. Specifically, a 40-year-old male who will play a trauma counselor. More man candy?? This girl isn’t complaining.

Demi Lovato’s Grey’s Anatomy Episode Triggered Her Acting Skills

Yes, The Camp Rock Sweetheart, Demi Lovato, played the part of a Schizo Teen-girl in Grey’s Anatomy, now wants to pursue her acting skills to a more grown-up roles.

After tasting the heavy drama role in Grey’s Anatomy episode, Demi seems to enjoy her acting in the said episode and said that she now wants to be able to play serious roles in her future move projects.

Have you seen her episode in Grey’s Anatomy? I’ve seen it and I must say she has a future in heavy drama movies. Though, I would be missing her in those cute light sweetheart teen rock dramas. Would you want Demi to move her cheese to heavy drama roles? I would love seeing more of Demi in Grey’s Anatomy.

Remember When I Said How Annoying Dr. April Kepner Was?

Well Sarah Drew agrees! During an interview with Michael Ausiello, Drew stated, “April has been kind of annoying this past season. Just neurotic and really insecure.” Although she admits that Dr. Kepner is a constant annoyance to the cast and fans, Drew also believes that April is good for the show by causing drama.

Personally, I am too emotionally exhausted from her McDreamy-lovin’ antics to give her another chance. Will anyone try to like April this season?

Katherine Heigl Gone From Grey’s Anatomy But Not Forgotten

Justin Chambers admitted that he misses Katherine. He said that Heigl is fun to be working with her.

As a refresher, Chambers is always defending Izze. He also called out her name during the season finale when he was shot in the abdomen. It was truly a sad event for Izze being removed in the picture.

Chambers also pointed out Grey’s Anatomy fans will always remember that there is not much Alex without Izze. He will be missing Izze for the next two seasons.

I personally miss her onscreen romance with Alex. If there will be a survey from The Show if Izze will be brought back to the next season, will you vote “yes” to bring her back? I will definitely vote a BIG YES!

Kim Raver to Star in Lifetime Movie

Kim Raver (Dr. Teddy Altman) will be studying in an upcoming TV film called Bond of Silence opposite Greg Grunberg. Inspired by a true story, Raver will be playing a widow who is investigating the death of her husband who mysteriously died attempting to break up a party on New Years. Sounds interesting… will anyone be watching?

Eric Dane and Wife Show Support For the Unemployed

Eric Dane (Dr. Mark Sloan) and his wife Rebecca Gayheart attended the 9th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball recently in Los Angeles. Hosted at a private residence, this philanthropic event helps support those who find themselves jobless by giving them opportunities to become self-sufficient. Dane is using his time off from the show to relax and spend time with his new baby daughter Billie Beatrice.

April and Jackson Renewed For Season 7

Sarah Drew (Dr. April Kepner) and Jesse Williams (Dr. Jackson Avery) have negotiated contracts for the seventh season of Grey’s and will become regulars.

Jackson is hot and his love triangle with Cristina and Owen should be interesting, but why April? Her obnoxious antics got our McDreamy shot and she’s kind of annoying. Hopefully the next season will bring more depth to April’s character.

The Most Significant Death in the Finale

On her blog and in interviews, creator Shonda Rhimes speaks about Meredith’s miscarriage as the major death of the Season 6 finale. Um… WHAT?? I understand that this miscarriage is a devastating blow to Meredith’s new positive outlook on life, but how can a terminated pregnancy that we found out about just hours before it was over be the most horrific? How can somebody look past Charles’ poignant speech to Bailey, demanding that she tell Reed about his love for her as she’s lying dead in the supply room? After watching Charles die in Bailey’s lap I wanted to tell my family how much I love them, squash old fights and mend broken friendships. This was clearly the most significant loss on the show. Does anybody feel differently?
