Yes, Ellen Pompeo, Patrick Dempsey, Sandra Oh, Justin Chambers, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens, Jr. — they have all signed up for two more seasons.

Early last month, a news report came out that someone from any of the major character is going to die. But with the contract renewals of the aformentioned actors, it’s safe to say that no one from their group is going.

There are no reports of contract renewals for the rest of the actors yet, such as Eric Dane, Sara Ramirez or Chyler Leigh. These actors joined the show sometime after the third or fourth season…will the death be from one of these people in this batch?

Also early in the series, former Grey’s Anatomy star Katherine Heigl, who played Dr. Izzie Stevens, said she wants to return to the show.

Will the producers consider taking her back for the 9th and 10th seasons?

And Lexie isn’t holding back as she declares her love for Mark. Lexie also insists that she must have his baby, because her body’s hormones are failing.

The problem is Mark is already in a relationship with Julia, and has been doing his best not to sabotage this. But who can resist Lexie, and who can resist when she declares her love for you?

Mark has a choice to make. And from my point of view, it’s clear to me he is going to go with Lexie, because they clearly crazy about each other. But the writers will definitely not make this easy for them (which means more teases and excitements for the viewers). The sane choice would be to go with Julia, as Mark is also fond of her and their relationship seems more centered and stable.

But showrunner Shonda Rhimes says, that the list cannot be trusted, because apparently, anyone from the cast can go.

Each year, a death of someone in the cast is predicted. But this time around is a whole lot different because some of the cast members have already expressed they are ready to move on from the show. In the TV landscape, that can mean being killed off in the series. And there’s a strong buzz that Patrick Dempsey may be leaving the to do other stuff after this season.

Then again, there’s also Richard, the former chief who hasn’t exactly been a fan favorite despite being a major character.

So, who do you think leaves this show this time around?

None was more shock than Jackson himself, the actor Jesse Williams, who was ill at ease at the thought that the two, who treat each other like buds or best friends, have seen each other naked and swap bodily fluids.

Williams said that this is either going to go good or bad and what it means for him as an actor, is that there is going to be a lot of potential for the character, and they can take different directions with this.

Williams have long been wanting to see his character evolve in the show, and this is how it will play out for him. I was just quite surprised that it happened, because I was expecting someone like Mark Sloane to be April’s first.

Jackson and April will sort out their issues in this week’s episode, but with three or two more shows left till the season finale, whatever roadblock or progress up ahead for these two will have to be played out next season.

The question is, will there be a show for next year?

This week, Patrick Dempsey saved the life of a teenager for real when he tried to help the kid out of his car while witnessing a crash.

The news broke on Twitter, when TV producer and writer Shawn Ryan, who created “The Shield” posted on his social networking account that Patrick apparently rushed to pull out a teenager whose car turned over. The kid was apparently the child of a close friend, and so Ryan owed Dempsey so much gratitude and called him a good dude.

The crash happened near Dempsey’s Malibu home and witnesses say that the actor rushed with a crowbar on hand. I guess, with many years of experience as a race car driver, Dempsey also knew what could happen and what to do in this case.

The car that crash was reportedly a Mustang and the boy suffered no injuries except for some concussions.

She said that plenty of the writers on the show are crying over this death, which will be airing when the show has its season finale on May 17th. But the drama over this death will actually begin unfolding on the May 10th episode, which will have all the doctors take on the biggest medical case of their life.

Rhimes also said that she knows the choice she has made and the possible backlash that will go with it. Some fans of the show may not understand the decision, which makes me wonder more and more if the character they have decided to kill with be Patrick Dempsey’s McDreamy, Derek Shepard.

The finale was originally planned to have Meredith and Derek’s dream house burning down, which Rhimes said, she wasn’t ready to do. So instead, viewers are going to get a glimpse of the couple’s lovely home for the first time in the season ender.
