Eric Dane, who plays Dr. McSteamy on Grey’s Anatomy, was recently involved in a scandal involving a sextape with himself, his wife Rebecca Gayheart and Playboy model Kari Ann Peniche.

Although leaked as a sextape, the video includes no actual sexual activities despite being naked in the clip of the tape.

Dane’s publicist alleges that the video is not a sextape.

“This is simply a private, consenual moment involving a married couple, shot several years ago, which was never intended to be seen by the public.” Singer, the publicist, said in a statement on Monday.

Dane’s wife, Rebecca Gayheart, is known for the Urban Legend movies as well as being the Noxema Girl. Peniche won Miss Teen Oregon in ’02 and posed nude for Playboy in ’04.
