Which couple on Grey’s Anatomy had a lucky break for Valentine’s in this week’s Hearts Day episode?
BAILEY: Once in a while we get to see a softer, more human side of this very accomplished doctor. But I was more than thrilled to see her getting wooed by her boyfriend, who clearly understands that his girl is one of the best doctors around and pressure, as well as stress, is always going to be part of the job. And lucky for Bailey to finally find a man who understands why her dedication to her work is important. It’s good to see this side of Miranda — happy and in love.
CALLIE AND ARIZONA: The couple spent a romantic date on Derek’s trailer, which was something I’d expect from these two. They are really have their marriage all worked out, don’t they? Good for them!
MEREDITH AND DEREK: Slowly adjusting to their new role as parents, the Shepards are desperate to get a time alone together on Valentine’s day, but there’s baby Zola to think of and Meredith’s patient was becoming quite a challenge. Good thing Derek was there to give his wife his professional advise. And it goes without saying that the two seem to be adjusting just fine with their new chapter.
CHRISTINA AND OWEN: Not adjusting quite well are Christina and Owen, whose still hounded by tension and bitterness over the death of Teddy’s husband. Owen picks this time to tell Christina he will be moving out to figure out what to do with their relationship.
