Grey’s Anatomy had a recent royal visitor on the set. And by royal, I mean he is known as the King of the Jungle:

Yep, that’s right! There was a lion on the set of the medical drama series. What he’s doing there, is something we will get to watch in the coming episode entitled, “The Lion Sleeps Tonight”.

It was actually Patrick Dempsey who tweeted this photo from the set, saying that the lion is actually part of the storyline. He’s actually a guest-patient.

Has Seattle Grace turned into a veterinary hospital?

Actually, as another cast member notes in an interview, the whole episode will revolve around children and animals. So, I’m guessing there will be a child attacked by this lion (he looks totally harmless in this photo!) and the hospital is nearest to the zoo.

If this doesn’t sound exciting to you, well, brace yourselves for more drama between couples. The issues between Owen and Cristina, and Jackson, Lexie and Mark have yet to threshed out.

And we have Adele’s deteriorating health to deal with. Sources say, the character is really turning for the worst.
