Despite what we all saw a few episodes back, Katherine Heigl is not leaving Grey’s Anatomy… just as yet! Shonda Rhimes tweeted recently, telling all of the anxious fans that Katherine Heigl would be back as soon as she was done filming Life As We Know It with Josh Duhamel and getting to know and love her baby. But, until the return, Heigl’s on-screen husband, Dr. Karev will be facing hard times.

On another note, the Mercy Westers aren’t dropping any hints about how long they will be staying on Grey’s Anatomy. Whether their appearances will become permanent or just temporary, and more importantly, whose, is still a mystery to everyone.
