Katherine Heigl is in InStyle Magazine’s latest issue, talking about everything from the Grey’s Anatomy writing staff to the new R rated movie she’s doing, The Ugly Truth with Gerard Buttler.
In the magazine, she says, ‘It was a great story to tell and satsifying for me on a million different levels,’ says Heigl about her character’s brain cancer story line, “I am grateful to the writers,’ she also adds. Heigl is reported to stay on for another season on Grey’s Anatomy although her future on the show after that is still under discussion.
On her new movie, The Ugly Truth, Heigl says that she is finally glad to be a doing an R rated movie and is sick of doing PG-13 films up till now. The Ugly Truth stars Kevil Connolly, Gerard Buttler, Cheryl Hines, Gerard Buttler and Heigl. It’s about a romantically challanged TV show producer, played by Heigl, who agrees to a series of tests from her chauvanistic correspondant, played by Butler, to prove his theories on love and find her true love.
The Ugly Truth releases on July 24th, 2009.
