It looks like Grey’s Anatomy is getting another guest star! Earlier this week Shonda Rhimes, creator of the popular hospital drama turned to Twitter to make the announcement. In her tweet she had exclaimed her admiration for table reads and then announced her next guest star.

Still waiting for me to reveal who it is, well it’s none other then Summer Glau. Recognized for her most recent work on the The Cape, The Big Bang Theory and Termnator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles she will be now adding the hit series Grey’s Anatomy to the bill. She will be guest starring in an episode set to air in February sometime. Little information has been released regarding her role and what impact it could have on the residents of Seattle Grace. However, I am assuming as time progresses more information will be released and you will can catch it right here.

In other Grey’s Anatomy news Ellen Pompeo (Meredith) was spotted out and about with her 2 year old daughter Stella. The pair were seen last weekend leaving the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in Los Angeles. Judging by the photograph and Pompeo’s attire I would have to say it was definitely a laid back day. It’s nice to see even celebrities let loose every once in awhile. I do have one question though, is it really that cold in Los Angeles right now? That puffy black jacket looks like it’s more for winter wear.
